Al introducir cualquier URL en el navegador, \u00e9ste env\u00eda una petici\u00f3n HTTP al servidor solicitando la p\u00e1gina web y los archivos asociados a ella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HTTP fue propuesto originalmente por Tim Berners-Lee y lanzado en 1991 pensando en la simplicidad. Principalmente un archivo HTML por p\u00e1gina web; como index.html para la p\u00e1gina de inicio, contact.html para la p\u00e1gina de contacto y as\u00ed sucesivamente. Sin archivos CSS externos, sin librer\u00edas JavaScripts ni nada por el estilo. As\u00ed que, aunque las versiones HTTP anteriores estaban limitadas a procesar s\u00f3lo una petici\u00f3n a la vez, no importaba mucho entonces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero ahora Internet ha cambiado y las p\u00e1ginas web se han vuelto complejas. Adem\u00e1s del archivo HTML, los navegadores necesitan cargar varias hojas de estilo CSS externas, archivos JavaScript y toneladas de recursos multimedia y de imagen para abrir una sola p\u00e1gina web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/git-staging.wpastra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/http2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"516\" src=\"https:\/\/git-staging.wpastra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/http2.jpg\" alt=\"How Does HTTP 1 work\" class=\"wp-image-26117\" srcset=\"https:\/\/git-staging.wpastra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/http2.jpg 780w, https:\/\/git-staging.wpastra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/http2-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/git-staging.wpastra.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/http2-768x508.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 780px) 100vw, 780px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed pues, para los sitios web que a\u00fan utilizan versiones HTTP 1, los navegadores se ven obligados a abrir varias conexiones en paralelo para procesar varias peticiones simult\u00e1neamente. Sin embargo, demasiadas conexiones en paralelo pueden causar congesti\u00f3n. Los navegadores modernos s\u00f3lo procesan unas 6 peticiones en paralelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si se necesitan m\u00e1s de 6 peticiones para cargar una p\u00e1gina web, se ponen en cola y, por tanto, los usuarios experimentan tiempos de carga lentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> \u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona HTTP\/2?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>HTTP\/2 se lanz\u00f3 en 2015 teniendo en cuenta las necesidades de la web moderna. Es la primera mejora importante del HTTP despu\u00e9s de 1997; \u00a1vaya 18 a\u00f1os!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n se enumeran algunas de las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s destacadas de HTTP\/2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Multiplexaci\u00f3n<\/li><li>Compresi\u00f3n de cabeceras<\/li><li>Servidor Push<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Todas estas funciones se centran principalmente en el rendimiento y la seguridad.
