If you do not see the license activation form for Astra Pro, chances are \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Astra Pro plugin is not installed<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Make sure you have installed and activated the Astra Pro<\/strong> plugin. See How to Install Astra Pro Addon plugin?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Astra Pro plugin is not able to find the theme installed on your website.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
This can happen if the theme folder is renamed. To verify and fix, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
- Login to the FTP of your website and go to wp-content\/themes<\/strong><\/li>
- Ensure you have a folder: astra<\/strong><\/li>
- If it is something else, rename the folder back to astra<\/strong> (or just reinstall Astra theme)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Renaming the theme folder can be a cause of many problems. WordPress recognizes themes by the folder and it is strongly recommended not to rename folders unless there is the intention behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Astra theme has a stable version while Astra Pro has a beta\/RC version or vice versa. <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Check if the theme and the plugin both have a stable version. Else both should have a beta\/RC version. Sometimes if the versions are different the license box does not display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Small but a very useful feature we are introducing with Astra Pro Addon version 1.5.1 is Automatic Beta Updates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We follow a Beta testing process while releasing any major version. It allows us to provide a working copy of the upcoming release to our customers and get feedback on new features, improvements, and fixes. It is a part of our efforts to release only stable and thoroughly tested updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until now, you had to log in your account on our store<\/a>, download the beta version and install it manually on your website. But now, we\u2019ve simplified the processing by introducing a feature that will allow users to easily participate in the Beta Program. You can now enable automatic beta updates for Astra Pro on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The setting can be found under Appearance > Astra Options > Allow Beta updates<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important Note<\/strong> \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.<\/strong> Automatic Beta Updates feature is available only with Astra Pro Addon<\/strong> plugin. You will only find this feature with Astra Pro Addon plugin but enabling this option from Astra Pro Addon will display beta updates for both Astra Pro plugin and Astra Theme. Whenever there\u00a0is a beta\u00a0update\u00a0available for Astra Pro or Astra theme, you will get the update\u00a0notification in WordPress updater.
2.<\/strong> If you want a beta update notification for Astra theme, you can enable the above option from Astra Pro. If you are not Astra Pro user then you need to manually download the zip for beta and upload it to the site. Read more here<\/a>.
3.<\/strong> Beta versions are stable as possible since we release them only after testing internally. But we still recommend you to use them only on staging sites or playgrounds. In case you update theme or plugin to the beta version and want to revert back to the previous stable version, follow the steps -<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Step 1<\/strong>: Install Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades<\/a> plugin.
Step 2: <\/strong>Download the previous stable version of the theme from here<\/a>.
Step 3: <\/strong>Download the previous stable version for Astra Pro from your store<\/a> account.
Step 4:<\/strong> Now upload recently downloaded zip for theme and plugin to the site.
