Normally you have a sidebar that appears throughout the website. However, sometimes it is necessary to display a relevant, different sidebar on certain pages on the website. For an example: on WooCommerce pages, a sidebar with related or top seller products would be more relevant than latest comments, blog posts right?
We just released a free plugin to help you solve that problem. It works with any theme, is very simple to use and most importantly it’s very lightweight.

It is not working !!
I have tried using it on category page, but it is displaying main sidebat
Make sure you have set the target rules correctly, If a page/archive has two different sidebars selected from target rules, the first one will be displayed.
Can you open up a support ticket with more details?
Hello,
Very useful Plugin!
I have a question:
Is it possible to have a double side bar ? Left and Right custom side bars…
Do you have a code or a workaround to achieve that?
Thank you
If you’re using Astra theme, regretfully we do not have the option of double sidebar.
Is it possible for collapse in the side bar?
The more product I love in the more categories/sub-categories/sub-sub-ect.-categories it generates. As to where my side bar out grows my page in length.
Hello Tym,
Unfortunately, no we do not have such a feature to collapse the sidebar.
There might be some other plugin which can help achieve this requirement.
Can two or more side bars be added on the same side?
Hello Baidurya, sorry as of now it is not possible to add two sidebars on the same page.
Hello,
I would like to know how to have 2 sidebars, left and right and able to place different widgets on those
Is it possible to have overlay sidebar on one side and usual sidebar on other side
is it possible to have a sidebar on specific pages and no sidebar on all other pages?
Yes, that is easily possible. We offer a meta box on all pages where you can enable or disable sidebar for specific page.
So if I want to ONLY have a sidebar on my blog page…your plug-in allows that?
If so…do you have screenshots or a printout explaining this process
If you are using Astra, from customizer you can set sidebar to be none – See doc
and on the blog page, you can set the sidebar either left or right side – See doc
Is it possible to remove the sidebar border?
Is there a way a user can switch ‘modes’ that also switch the sidebar in use? Rather than linking to different sections of the site, I would like to just change the sidebar for different audiences.
Can you explain your requirement with an example so that it will be helpful to answer your question? Particularly I could not understand what do you mean by “different audience” and “mode” that you are referring to.
Hello Sir,
I’m using this Make in India Astra Theme proudly
But would you like to guide me how can I add left and right sidebar both in complete website* ?
Thank You in Advance.
Hello! As of now, we do not have the option in the Astra theme to have the Left and Right Sidebars.
Hello team,
I was using your Lightweight Sidebar for a few months. Yesterday, I deactivated to sort out another issue with my blog. After that when I again activated the Lightweight Sidebar plugin, all my earlier settings have gone. And only the Sidebars are displayed in the widget section. The custom HTML links I’ve inserted separately for each post are missing.
As I have used this plugin in around 20 posts, all having different custom HTML links in the sidebar. Im really in deep trouble. Can you kindly guide me to sort out this issue?
